EVENT PROGRAMMING 2026
The year 2026 is marked by the launch of new events: European Artistic Crafts Days, the return of Tables en Fête, and a unique and exceptional exhibition on the Briochin artist Zoé Laigneau (1885–1965) during European Heritage Days. See details below.
The events are organized by two non-profit associations (French law 1901):

European Crafts Days(JEMA)
For three days, some thirty craftsmen and women will be showcasing their skills and work at the Orangerie du Château de Bogard. Three days of exhibitions and sales, meetings and exchanges, and demonstrations of know-how.
Friday, April 10, 2026, from 2pm to 6pm. Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10am to 6:30pm. Sunday April 12, 2026, from 10am to 6pm. Free admission, no reservation required.

European Crafts Days(JEMA)

Tour of the château gardens in aid of NEURODON
To mark the NEURODON, organized by the Association des Parcs et Jardins de Bretagne (APJB), Château de Bogard is opening its gardens to the public and donating €2 for each visitor to the Cancer Research Foundation.
Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May 2026. Visits from 10am to 6pm. Free for children under 12. Book your visit on our website (Boutique/Park visit page).

This year, the Château de Bogard is pleased to present an exhibition dedicated to Zoé Laigneau (1885–1965), a Breton artist who lived in Saint-Brieuc and was a sculptor, portraitist, copyist, and illustrator. Through this exhibition of her works, we hope to showcase her talent. The exhibition will be an opportunity to introduce you to a collection of paintings by the artist, acquired from an indirect descendant of the Laigneau family. This exhibition will be It is also an opportunity to share a wealth of information about the artist and her work, as well as, more broadly, about painting, the craft of the copyist, and the role of women artists in history. You can round out your visit to the exhibition by exploring the castle gardens and following a trail of 10 QR codes that will explain the history and architecture of the site. At the end of the trail, there’s a refreshment area where you can quench your thirst and take a quiet break.
Free admission. Open to all ages. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

2024 EVENTS
In 2024, we celebrated the 750th anniversary of the Bogard site, whose origins date back to the Middle Ages and on which Château de Bogard was built in the 18th century, and which is now listed as a Monument Historique. Château de Bogard took part in several events to celebrate this anniversary: (1) u fireworks display organized in August in aid of the Artisans d’Espoir association in Quessoy, which drew over 2,000 spectators; (2) an electro music festival organized in September by the Tek Hilarant association, which drew over 4,000 young people who enjoyed a festive event combining youth and cultural heritage during the European Heritage Days; (3) aAlso, the publication of an illustrated book entitled “750 d’Histoire à Bogard”, retracing the history of the site from the Middle Ages to the present day, which can be ordered directly from the château owners. Many thanks to all the valiant organizers and participants in these festive and cultural events…
