A large, prestigious and romantic space

Château de Bogard offers you the opportunity to organize your wedding in the Côtes d’Armor region in a prestigious and romantic setting, with large, peaceful spaces, sunny until sunset, to warmly welcome your guests.

The 40-hectare park with its meadows, undergrowth and unobstructed view over a pond is at your disposal. You can organize your reception and wedding ceremony as you wish. The spacious grounds will allow you to add tents and marquees. The medieval terraces, transformed into romantic arbors, will be ideal for your wedding photos.

The reception rooms are in the château’s Orangerie. With its inner courtyard, the Orangerie offers an intimate space for your guests, with a playroom for children, the possibility of a rest area for your guests in the gîte adjoining the reception rooms, and a catering area to facilitate your organization.

Reception capacity

The reception area at l’Orangerie includes :

– A room for cocktails, opening onto the lawn in front of the château, allowing your guests to take full advantage of the outdoor spaces and gardens, with a view of the entire park and the château’s sunny façade. If the weather is uncertain, you can still enjoy the beauty of the landscape in the room with its large glass doors.

– A dining room for up to 170 seated din ers, extending into a dance area. Furniture (tables, chairs, easel) is provided and included in the rental price. A “catering” area with a large cold room adjoining the reception hall will enable your service provider to organize your meal in the best possible conditions.

– The reception rooms all open out through large glass doors onto the Orangerie’s inner courtyard, lined with topiary hedges, an ideal space for creating a more intimate atmosphere for your guests.

On-site accommodation capacity

The site can accommodate up to 31 people in a comfortable bed on site:

– The reception rooms at the Orangerie are connected to a house that can accommodate 15 people. This home also provides access to the Orangerie’s inner courtyard. It’s ideal for welcoming your close family in comfort and intimacy, as well as allowing your tired guests to rest in complete safety.

– An apartment at the château can also accommodate 6 people.

– A gîte 1 km from the château can accommodate a further 10 guests.

A meadow adjoining the Orangerie is also available for your camping friends.

A play area for children

Château de Bogard is not only for adults, but also for children. A play area is available for youngsters to play games, read comics, play board games, draw… The magic cupboard contains many treasures. While parents chat around a table, youngsters can enjoy themselves in a playroom set up for them in the central gîte right next to the reception room, which is both independent and close by for supervision. Balls are also available, and there’s even a soccer goal in an adjacent meadow for the more athletic ones…

Our wedding gift…

We’d also like to share in your happiness and offer you a wedding gift: we’re giving the bride and groom exclusive and privileged access to a suite in the private areas of the château.

This suite is an ideal space for the bride and groom to prepare for the wedding ceremony in complete peace and privacy, and to enjoy a space away from the hustle and bustle of the reception halls and other homes.

General terms and conditions…

– Rental of the Orangerie at Château de Bogard includes the two function rooms (cocktail room and dining room), the gîte for 15 people, the Orangerie’s inner courtyard, access to the lawn in front of the château, the surrounding gardens and the entire park.

– All these areas are reserved exclusively for you.

– The Orangerie reception rooms and gîte are open from Thursday evening 6pm until Monday morning 10am, to give you time to settle in, get ready and enjoy this exceptional moment in your life.

– There is no time limit for the sound system. The site, with its 40 hectares of woods and meadows, is relatively far from any other dwellings. So you won’t disturb the neighbors if you want to party into the wee hours.

– You have a free choice of service providers. However, if you’d like us to help you find the right service provider, we’ll be happy to share our experience and advise you.

– The rental of the Orangerie is comprehensive (reception rooms + 15-bed gîte) and is subject to a fixed price (please contact us for further details).

– There are also options such as a 6-person apartment in the château and an additional 10-person gîte, which can be rented independently of the Orangerie. These accommodations can be rented for one night (e.g. Saturday evening) or for several days, depending on your needs.

– Linen is optional (sheets, pillowcases, towels). You can bring your own linen or reserve it as an optional extra fee when booking the cottages.

– You have the option of adding structures adjoining the halls (tents and marquees) for your ceremony needs.

– Our reception areas are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
