The Château de Bogard, built at the end of the 18th century, is an extraordinary testimony to the new ideas of the Age of Enlightenment on the eve of the French Revolution. This prestigious setting, both historic and modern, is the ideal place in the Côtes d’Armor to organize unforgettable events: weddings, secular ceremonies, receptions, weekends, corporate seminars and week-long stays.

Château de Bogard has a long history, beginning in 1274 with the de Bogard family and continuing into the 18th century with the de la Noüe family. Discover the story of Guillaume-François de la Noüe, known as “bras de fer”, who died at Moncontour. Discover also the life of the couple François de la Noüe, Breton parliamentarian and freemason, and Félicité Meslé de Grandclos, descendant of a Malouin shipowner, who were the creators of this enchanting place, preserved unchanged since the 18th century. The Capelle family, who have owned the property since the 60s, have revived this forgotten past and enhanced it for your enjoyment.

Bogard is a collective adventure: Harald and Baudoin, the two brothers who own the business, will be happy to welcome you and tell you all about the history of the place during a private tour, as well as all the friends who make occasional contributions and share their good humor… Bogard is also involved with the communes of Quessoy and Hénon, a member of the local shopkeepers’ association and a partner of the Ville Davy agricultural school.

Bogard is first and foremost a prestigious, romantic and comfortable venue for all types of festive and collective events: weddings, but also music concerts, fireworks displays, seminars, exhibitions… It’s also a haven of peace for flora and fauna. 40 hectares of woods, meadows, orchard, flower gardens and a pond are maintained and managed to preserve local biodiversity.
